You finished the draft. Now finish the novel.

Novel Maestro reads your complete manuscript the way a developmental editor would, and tells you — with evidence from your own pages — what's working, what isn't, and what to fix first. Then it stays with you through the entire edit, all in one powerful workspace.

You've had feedback. None of it told you what to do.

I really enjoyed it!
The middle sagged a little?
Not quite right for our list at this time.
I loved the writing — I just wasn't sure what it was about.
Maybe cut some of the description?
— and, from four agents, nothing at all.

Somewhere between the novel in your head and the manuscript on the page, something lost its force. You can feel it. You just can't see where it begins.

You need to know precisely what to fix — and how.

Serious editorial attention. Made accessible.

What you usually get

"It could be more gripping."

What Novel Maestro gives you

Your first move
Start with Ch. 10, Sc. 1.3. Don’t add plot – Wilson’s approach, the shots, the mattress in the pool are all already there and already correct. Add Nick. Right now the scene reports what happened at the pool the way a coroner would; give us thirty more seconds of Nick physically arriving, the walk down to the water, the specific texture of dread before he knows for certain – the same interiority you gave him without hesitation at the Plaza (Ch. 9, Sc. 1.5) and in the confession scene the night before (Ch. 10, Sc. 1.1). If you can make this one scene breathe the way those two do, you’ll feel exactly what’s missing from Ch. 5, Sc. 1.1 and Ch. 6, Sc. 1.1 as well, and the fix for those will follow the same instinct.

An unedited revision suggestion from Novel Maestro's reading of The Great Gatsby.

Every finding lands on the page that prompted it. Click it and you're there.

It reads the whole book before it says a word.

1

It reads everything.

Every character, scene, subplot, setup and promise — modelled across the complete manuscript, not the chapter in front of it. A single read is around 175 separate analyses: every scene scored on its own, every character's arc tracked across eight dimensions, all of it running in about ten minutes.

2

It tells you the truth.

It starts gently — one observation, one thing to do next — then opens out into the whole edit: a full developmental report, thirteen diagnostics each with its own findings and suggested moves, and dozens of scene-level suggestions across the manuscript. All of it prioritised, so you always know what matters most. Measured against what you meant the book to be, and against what readers of your genre arrive expecting. Every claim grounded in a passage you can open.

3

It stays until the book leaves the house.

A revision map, a manuscript editor, and a fresh reading of the whole novel whenever the draft has changed — one that knows exactly which scenes you touched. And when you're finally ready, a readiness check, a scan for loose ends, and a first draft of the query letter you've been dreading.

Your novel's home base — the actual My Novel page from a test reading of The Great Gatsby, as though F. Scott Fitzgerald had used Novel Maestro to revise his draft.

A developmental edit costs £2,000–£4,000 and ends with a document.

Novel Maestro gives you that document — the full report, structure to subplot to theme, every finding evidenced.

Then it keeps going: thirteen diagnostics you can drill into, an ordered revision map, a workspace to rewrite in, and a fresh reading of the whole novel each time you're done.

Most edits stop at the report. That's where this one starts.

It doesn't write your novel.
It studies it.

  • — No ghostwriting. No generated chapters.
  • — It never replaces your prose or edits without you.
  • — It judges the book against your intentions, not a template for what a novel should be. Tell it what you meant; correct it where it's wrong.
  • It won't bluff. If the analysis doesn't meet its own standard, the read stops and says so — you get an honest failure, not a confident invention.
  • — Your manuscript stays private and is never used to train AI models.
You remain the author. Novel Maestro isn't a shortcut around the work — it's a straighter way through it.
Human Author stamp
"Four people read it. They all said the second half was slower, and none could tell me why. Novel Maestro pointed at a scene in chapter nine where my protagonist stops deciding anything and starts being carried along, then showed me the three later scenes where the same thing happens. There were one or two things I didn't agree with, but it was the first response to the book I could actually engage with."

Ten minutes from now, you could have your novel reviewed.

Upload your manuscript and make coffee. By the time you sit down again, Novel Maestro has read the whole thing and gives you an editor’s first take: what’s working, where it’s straining, and who your characters really are beneath the surface — what they want, fear, hide and reveal. It also reflects back your intent and identifies the one observation that matters most, backed by your own pages.

Correct its reading of your genre, central question, reader promise, tone or themes, and everything recalibrates. Then see your top revision priority, a concrete first move, what more than a dozen diagnostic passes found, and where to go next.
